I was born and raised in Mexico City where I performed several times at the National Theatre in Mexico and won awards for Best Actor from institutions such as the National Autonomous University.
I was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and by Actor´s Studio Member and Benicio del Toro´s coach René Pereyra.
I moved to Chicago 3 years ago to continue my acting career and have worked in theatre at the Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens, Theatre Wit, Athenaeum, among others; I´ve done Netflix episodics and Voice Overs for Paw Patrol, Illinois Lottery, Sloan as well as commercials for TV. Currently, I am rehearsing a show for Teatro Vista, one of Chicago´s most renowned theatre companies.
I am proudly represented by Gray Talent Group and have been passionate about training actors for 10 years!
I own the Performing Arts Studio in Chicago which is equipped with a professional Taping Room and a Voice Over booth for actors in need of practicing with professional material!
My classes are focused on teaching students how to connect truthfully to a text and build powerful and memorable characters. I do so by teaching different techniques from practitioners like: Grotowski, Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, among others.
I believe that the way we can connect to our subconscious is by fueling our body and mind with personal stimulus and reacting/combining one another.

I have been extremely passionate about teaching Acting and Spanish for over 10 years (and have been an English as a Second Language student for 30!!) I am a native of Mexico City but made Chicago my home three years ago when I decided to continue my acting career in such a lovely city.

Spanish: I started teaching Spanish while I was doing my degree at the University of Exeter in the UK. I helped some of my actor colleagues learn the basics of Spanish and when I moved back to Mexico I decided to professionalize my teaching and took an intensive course focused on teaching Spanish to beginners. During that course I fall in love with my native language and decided to take another intensive course this time focused on Advance Spanish. During that course I learned beautiful nuances and details about this amazing language.
Since I have an artistic background, I try to create multidisciplinary classes so that my students can learn Spanish mainly through the arts and not through condensed and heavy books (though they are part of my teaching since I believe theory is of extreme importance in any field of study).
As a bilingual person, I've learned that language is the door to other cultures. Many times we are attracted to a language because we love a country that speaks it, songs we like to sing and dance to, tasty gastronomy, our parents, friends, among many more things. It is language who help us relate to others, understand their ways of thinking, their traditions, their jokes or their feelings.
This is why I strongly believe that finding the essence of why we want to learn a language is so important. It doesn't matter if you are a kid, a teenager or an adult, if you learn a language through the things you are personally interested and passionate about, learning will never feel like an obligation and will always feel like a fun game!
