    About Vicki T.

Biology is everywhere! It is much more than what is in a textbook or in a lab. I want to show you how biology impacts the world around you and how you impact biology! I have taught college biology for eight years. I have taught Introduction to Biology, Microbiology, Physiology and Introduction to Experimental Biology. I have taught Introduction to Biology to both science majors and students who have never had biology and will have that biology course as their only science course during college. I want to teach you how to think critically and evaluate what you see. I will make sure your foundation is strong and well understood before I add on a new concept. Biology seems scary to a lot of people. But, really, the main reason it can be scary is because it is a new language. I try to not use words without explaining what they mean. If you understand the language, then biology is much less frightening. I want to teach you the language of life and I hope that you will be able to see that the living world is as amazing as I think it is!
