I am a classically trained vocalist with a degree from Catholic University in Vocal Music Education. I started playing the violin at 8 and played it for 8 years in school and city orchestras. Being from Washington, D.C., our city youth orchestra performed at the White House multiple years for the lighting of the national Christmas tree. It was always so cold. I was also in the school and city choruses and my love for singing won out. I went to high school as a vocal music major and I had the privilege of performing at places like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. I continued on the vocal path through college. I moved to Los Angeles with the intent of becoming a studio vocalist for commercials and film, however, my first job was as a music transcriber (someone who listens to music and writes it as sheet music) for Jobete Music, one of many Motown publishing companies. I was contracted by several record companies and independent producers as an arranger/copyist, project coordinator/music librarian, or demo and background vocalist. Because of my background as a violinist and orchestra member, it was very easy for me to work efficiently writing orchestra arrangements for the studio. I have had the privilege to work with artists like Patti LaBelle, Smokey Robinson, Benny Medina (JLo's manager), Tina Marie, Randy Jackson, Ronnie Laws, Sylvester, The Supremes, The BarKays and many, many more. Technology was putting the acoustic musician out of business and live orchestras were only being used for large budget projects, so a change of focus was required. I functioned as an independent producer, vocal and instrumental arranger, songwriter, background and lead vocalist, vocal instructor and artist developer for aspiring new talent in the Los Angeles area. I relocated to Atlanta, where the industry trend was more towards electronic than acoustic music. With fewer professional musicians using acoustic arrangements, I chose to use my knowledge of production and artist development I received in Los Angeles along with my degree in voice, to tailor comprehensive voice lessons to help students at any skill set, get to the next level. For the last 25+ years, I have worked with many major and independent record labels, producers, songwriters, aspiring artists seeking to be signed and various music schools, private schools and churches in the Atlanta area. I have a vocal client/student list that has representation in major films, national tours of Broadway musicals, recording companies, voice-over and radio personalities, producers, music teachers, TV performers and more.

Vicki is an exceptional vocal coach. Her techniques challenged and expanded my vocal abilities. Whether you’re a professional or a novice, Vicki will add value to your gift. She has extensive experience in the music industry and is always willing to share pearls of wisdom. She’s even gone on the road with me as I traveled to perform. Five stars are really not enough. I highly recommend Vicki without reservation.

Vicki has a way of explaining techniques that makes the student explore and learn to understand how to use their body to better hit notes and reach ranges that you once thought was completely out of reach. I’ve never received this type of training from any other vocal coach I’ve had. I recommend her to all of the other artists I meet because Vicki is super knowledgeable and easy to work with. She is very passionate about ensuring that her vocal students improve their craft and I’m thankful that I was referred to work with her. Her training helped me to gain more confidence in my vocal abilities and because of that I landed more gigs and opportunities to share my voice with others. Thanks Vicki!

Ms. Vicki has been coaching my clients for years. She is one of the best Vocal Coaches in her field. She is well educated in the field, and has worked with artist in studio and out. Some of the new artists I signed had raw talent, but never recorded professionally. Ms. Vicki worked with them to build confidence, sing properly, on key, with the music, and how to make songs their own. They needed her skill set, and the ability to push them hard in all the right ways. All of the clients became 100 times better after working with her on a regular on-going basis, and learned to master their gift.
