Saxophone with Vaughn P.

Hi, there! My name is Vaughn and I teach clarinet, saxophone, and music composition. I've been playing both clarinet and saxophone since 2003, and have been teaching privately since 2010. In high school and college, I studied under Dr. Paul Cherry (University of South Dakota), Michael Cyzewski (North Carolina Symphony), and Dr. Anthony Taylor (University of North Carolina at Greensboro). I also participated in numerous honor bands. I currently hold a degree in music composition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Music education and performance has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy teaching and guiding musicians to reach their goals. Lessons are tailored to each student to bring their musical abilities to their full potential. Lessons include learning instrument technique, note reading, music theory, ear training, and writing.
