Vanessa is amazing. She is working with my 13-year old son and has him inspired and confident with huge improvements to his acting and singing ability. She has worked around our crazy schedule and seems to truly care about my son's success. We would definitely recommend her to anyone, were very lucky to find her on this site and have no hesitation in continuing lessons with her.

Vanessa is a great instructor! She has helped me improve so much. My tone of voice has improved a lot since I started my vocal lessons. Not only that, there are many songs I couldn't sing before and now I could sing them. Vanessa will provide you with all the tools and techniques you need to improve, however you have to put it hard work too if you want to improve.

Vanessa is incredible. I look forward to my voice class every week, as she is not only fun, but also incredibly helpful. I have noticed not just my voice improve, but my confidence as well. I have had several voice teachers in my life, and I have never liked one as much as I like Vanessa. TAKE HER CLASS!

Vanessa arrived on time which made a good first impression. She began by asking about my goals. I was amazed at all I learned in my very first lesson. Vanessa's instructions were clear and easy to follow. She gave me my homework for next week's session which I am excited to learn. She was very encouraging and reassuring. She made me feel like I had made the right decision in choosing takelessons and Vanessa as my instructor.

I studied with Vanessa for a year, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. She was everything I could have asked for in a voice teacher. As someone who had been too afraid to sing all her life, I never imagined I'd be where I am today. I walked into my first lesson filled with nerves, and left completely calm and excited to go back. Throughout the year Vanessa helped me grow as a singer, and a performer. I learned so much about myself and my instrument. She pushed me to trust myself and be confident in my voice. Vanessa is great, I have always been singing by straining my voice on higher notes and after a few weeks we made a major breakthrough in figuring out how to correct the problem, something my previous teacher was never able to do! Highly recommend Vanessa as a voice teacher.

Vanessa is an amazing instructor! She manages to teach to the various levels of our daughters, who are nine and 15, so that both make progress and enjoy the experience. I Left My First Session SO EXCITED!!!

I didn't realize so much could be accomplished in an hour, but I left our first lesson with an understanding about where I'm at with my voice, what is special about my voice, and feeling really excited and encouraged with where my voice can go. Vanessa was VERY patient with me, as I'm very much out of practice, but it took her no time at all to pin point my trouble spots and she quickly had other suggestions if certain exercises didn't work for my voice. After our session, I drove away in my car just beaming and I couldn't stop singing. Can't wait for our next session!

I met Vanessa while working on a musical. She was teaching us the music and I knew by the end of the rehearsal she would be a perfect voice teacher.

I was able to set up a lesson and go to her house. Her voice studio is so cute and comfortable.

She was able to help me with a song I was working on for an audition and gave me really good tips. I went to school for musical theater so I know how a lesson should be run. She knows exactly what she is talking about. I ended up getting into the show and I know I couldn't have done it without her.

She is really good with beginners too! She knows the basics and her warm ups are great. I felt more confident and I cannot wait to have another lesson.

Vanessa Really Helped Me Find My Belt!

I'd been out of practice for several years and was taking a voice class, but wanted a little extra help on the challenging solo I was performing for a Cabaret the class was doing. I came to Vanessa struggling to remember my technique and not quite knowing what to do with the way my voice had changed since I'd quit singing. She very patiently helped me work through where my break falls now and work around it. She greatly improved my delivery and the overall placement of the notes/sounds as I was singing. Her feedback made my performance successful and I can't wait to work with her again in the future!
