French with Vanessa B.

My love affair with the French language began when I was 12-years old. I have my B.A. in French, graduating with a 3.91 departmental G.P.A. As an undergraduate at UCLA, I enrolled in graduate courses in French and won second place in the best essay contest for my department. My areas of interest are French socio-historical linguistics, 19th-century French opera, French medieval studies, and second-language acquisition theory. In addition to being fluent in French, I am also fluent in Spanish.
