I have been teaching professionally for 19 years. I have taught in the K-12 school system and also at the college level. I have a Masters Degree in Education. I am a fully licensed Elementary Education Teacher and also certified to teach Special Education. My current experience is in Higher Education working and teaching at the community college level. I have always been an excellent writer and am normally the person everyone in my family and also my current and former students go to for help writing their academic papers, essays, scholarship applications, speeches, resumes, and cover letters. I have written numerous papers in both APA and MLA style. I am also the Advisor to the college newspaper and am well-versed in journalistic (AP style) writing.

In addition to my love for writing, I also love history! My hobby is family history (genealogy). I would love to help people research their family history. On a personal note, I am the mother of 2 sons. My oldest attends the University of Illinois and my youngest is still in high school. I help them both with their papers by proofreading them and offering them suggestions.

I would also like to highlight my expertise with scholarship essays and also resume and cover letter writing. At the community college I work with students on a daily basis helping them with these tasks. I know I could be a good resource for most writing tasks.

I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!
