Italian with Valentina M.

Piacere di conoscerti! (Nice to meet you!) I want to introduce myself so you can get to know me a little bit. My name is Valentina, but you can call me “Vale” for short, I’m from a beautiful city in Sicily called Catania. My hometown is located next the biggest active volcano in Italy, Mount Etna, and I like to always say that when I introduce myself because I think it’s pretty cool. Right?! I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Arabic, so you can tell that a passion for languages runs in my blood. When I was in college, I got the chance to teach Italian to foreign students through the student exchange program at my university and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I moved to Texas about a year and a half ago, and since moving here, I have rediscovered my passion for sharing about my beautiful language and culture to everybody who will listen! I can teach online or from home, I live at a beautiful apartment complex that has a clubhouse I can use for classes overlooking the river walk. I am looking forward to hearing from prospective students, help me make my dream come true: to share a piece of Italy with as many people as possible!
