A professional cellist with academic education in a conservatory of music. Participation in chamber music, an ensemble of cellos, national and international orchestras. Valentina Hernández is a cello player formed at the Conservatory of Music Vicente-Emilio-Sojo in the city of Barquisimeto, the center of The National-System-of-youth-and-children’s-Orchestras-of-Venezuela, El-Sistema. At the age of nine years old, she began her studies of cello at the Latin American Cello Academy under the tutelage of Maricarmen Silva and Javier Peraza. Member of the Youth-Orchestra-Doraliza-de-Medina and the Youth-Orchestra-Franco-de-Medina. Principal and founder cello of the Ensamble-Nacional-de-Cellos. In 2012, she took national tours with the Regional-Orchestra Centro-Llano-Occidental. That same year she participates at the international orchestra “One World Symphony” in Virginia, USA. At the age of thirteen, she is chosen by the “National Academy of Cello” with the master Valmore Nieves. She performed solo concertos and recitals under the tutelage of international masters such as Johan Stern, Paul Desenne, among others in the city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela. In 2014, she entered the Symphony-Orchestra-Jacinto-Lara and took national tours until 2016. In 2016, wins the competition of cello to be a member of one of the most important orchestras in Venezuela, Caracas-Symphonic-Orchestra, conducted by Dietrich Paredes. In 2017, obtained from the Music-Conservatory-of-Caracas the title as a cello performer, that same year entered in the Symphonic-Orchestra-Simon-Bolivar performing high-level repertoire. Currently, she has the role of music teacher at Miami-Music-Project. She has performed as a cellist at orchestras around Florida; among those is Miami-Symphony, VeroBeach-Symphony, South-Florida-Symphony, and The-Villages-Philharmonic-Orchestra.
