Thank you for viewing my profile and considering me as a tutor. My background... Learned to swim at 5 years old. Competitive swimmer from 11 - 22 years old. Lifeguard from 15 - 26 years old. Swim Instructor from age 16 to present. Along with my competitive swimming background (Middle School thru NCAA Division I), I bring classroom teaching experience, parent of young children patience, and an overall love for sharing the gift of knowing how to swim. I enjoy being a part of the progression from timid and fearful non-swimmer to comfortable and capable lap swimmer that have the skills and confidence to save their own life and possibly take things to next level by joining a team, becoming a lifeguard, or even becoming SCUBA certified.
