Guitar with Tyler W.

My name is Tyler and I love teaching music. I have been playing guitar over 10 years, bass for 6 years, drums for 3 years and singing for over 3 years. I have been teaching for 5 years since graduating from Musicians Institute. In school I learned about performing, reading/writing and recording music. I have done gigs as a soloist or in a group as well as performed in an award winning show at Busch Gardens. I am constantly researching how our brain understands and reacts to music and music's impact through our history, science and culture. I like incorporating any subject I can into teaching the vast phenomena that is music. I am goal driven. I appreciate all styles of music. I encourage you to challenge yourself. Everybody learns different. I work on your curriculum and practice routines. I will be training you to be self sufficient as a learner, to pursue knowledge past the lesson and to become a musician.
