I have spent the last 15 years learning, loving, and mastering the German language. I taught myself German in a full immersion situation while working at a restaurant in Dresden, Germany. After returning I spent two years honing my speaking and writing skills at the University of Toledo. I took part in multiple cultural and language exchanges in Germany during this time. I also tutored German language learning and English writing while at the university.

After my undergrad I went back to Germany and worked in Hamburg for 9 years. During this time I went back to school and wrote my master's dissertation in German with a German professor. I worked for a company in Hamburg selling educational products and dealing daily with only German clients.
