About Tyler A.

I have my BFA in Acting from Elon University and a Master student at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop. I'm also a certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. While at Elon I worked as a teacher's assistant for two years where I specialized in and began instructing the Meisner technique. Duties as a teacher's assistant: coaching in-class work (repetitions, activities, monologues, and scenes), providing private coaching for students with whatever they needed assistance in, grading and reviewing students. While at Elon University I also trained in Stanislavsky, Acting for the Camera, Shakespeare, Improv, and Voice (Skinner technique, Fitzmaurice) and Movement (Laban and Alexander techniques, BMC [Body-Mind Centering], and Yoga). I've studied abroad in Arezzo, Italy, where I studied Commedia dell'Arte and Physical Theatre, and I've also studied under actress Marilyn McIntyre at the Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
