A lifelong student of music, I took up guitar at a young age. While studying Business during my first few years at the University of Toledo, I played all throughout NW Ohio with psychedelic rock group, Indigo. These experiences with music lead me to the UT Jazz program which I joined and eventually earned a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) in 2015. I now play solo and with groups Bird into Bear, The Sugar Snaps, and Tyler Aukerman Trio at many different venues throughout Ohio and Michigan. I have taught guitar lessons privately since 2010. I have also previously been an endorsed artist through GHS strings and Rocktron electronics. I am always looking for new students of any and all skill levels. Playing an instrument is such a rewarding adventure regardless of whether you are trying to learn a few chords or you want to dive deep into music theory and reading music. Both are equally meaningful! I am confident that I can help you acquire a better understanding of the language of music and the guitar!
