After many years as a touring musician I am very excited to continue sharing my practical knowledge and expertise with others. I will teach theory, both fundamental and advanced, but most importantly I will help you to apply it in context in a way that is practical, and most importantly, musical! I am adaptable and flexible, so we will follow where your interests take you. If desired we can branch out from learning the compositions of others and start creating your own! I have years of experience as both a lead guitarist and songwriter, so I love helping students discover THEIR process and how to make their creativity work for them. I have lots of experience working with younger children, as well as more advanced players. Wether your objective is to improve your technique, learn cover songs or write your own, I take great joy in providing engaging lessons and sharing from my wealth of practical musical experience.
