Bluegrass Guitar with Trevor E.

My name is Trevor. I'm a musician with 12 years of professional experience. I attended the USC Thornton School of Music, where I had the incredible opportunity to study with master musicians such as Patrice Rushen (Grammy award nominated pianist/composer, musical director of the Grammy's), Andrew Norman, (Pulitzer Prize finalist, Grammy award winner), and Andy Abad (guitarist for Jennifer Lopez) among others. I've learned a lot along my musical journey, and am really excited to share my knowledge of music with others! I am an experienced teacher and work with the 4/4 School of Music and at School of Rock Issaquah, where I teach guitar, bass and piano. I also worked with a community outreach program where I directed a middle school jazz band, a choir and I also taught private lessons. I try to tailor my lessons to what the student is interested in, while still building a solid foundation of musical ability and knowledge of theory. I believe that students do their best when they are exploring and curious about music, so I always seek to provide the material that makes each student excited. I teach students of all ages and abilities. I work frequently with young kids at School of Rock and I always find it inspiring to help children find a love for music in their lives, whatever role that is. I also teach all styles of music and have studied classical composition, pop, RnB, rock and jazz at USC. I recognize the unique challenges that we are facing with the Corona virus, and at this point I am only offering online lessons.
