Instructor with 20 years of experience playing guitar and ukulele accepting new students. I have a degree in music production, have studied under Danny Vaughn at the UCO Jazz Lab and have toured with multiple bands over the years. My approach to teaching is unique to each student's needs and we will create tailored lesson plans based on your goals. I believe learning should be fun, so theory will always be accompanied with songs applying concepts we are working on. We will get you playing right away! For beginners, we will focus on reading music and learning theory, then applying those principles with songs that use those skills. For intermediate and above students we will continue technique and theory but focus on getting you to your specific musical aspirations. I love working with kids and have experience with adult students as well. Looking forward to meeting you and making music!
