I am certified to teach General Music, Band, Orchestra, and Choir for grades K-12.

Currently, I am a full-time K-8 music teacher. I serve over 900 a week teaching general music, band, choir, and orchestra. I prepare my students to audition for high school auditions and I have also given many lessons to prepare students for college auditions.

I play and teach 15 instruments a day/week in various ensembles and classes.

I teach beginning students the basics of piano playing and technique. Simple songs, chords, and theory.

I received my Bachelor's in Music Education in 2012 and have been teaching for 4 years. I attended VanderCook College of Music, unlike other music education programs, VanderCook requires every student to learn how to perform 22 instruments at a freshman in high school level. 

Currently, I am a full-time K-8 music teacher. I serve over 700 a week teaching general music, band, choir, and orchestra. I prepare my students to audition for high school auditions and I have also given many lessons to prepare students for college auditions.

I also perform with various community groups around the Chicago-Land area. My primary instrument is trumpet, on which I perform in a Symphonic Band, Jazz Orchestra, Marching Band, and a Brass Quintet.

My experience has been amazing with Mr. Cuckler! At times that I wanted to give up he kept me going. I'm inspired to have a career in music. I hope that many other students will get to experience something so life changing. He is determined and energetic and that helps his students progress.

Travis Cuckler is my daughters music teacher as well as band director. His excitement for music is contagious. He holds a high standard and it shows in how his band performs. My daughter has been playing for only 2 years and is able to play high school level music. He pushes his students and they respect him highly. He is very professional,  but knows how to make the kids laugh. The pride my child has for what she does is beyond anything I've ever expected.
