I believe in building a solid foundation of technique and knowledge that will help students further along any path or genre they choose to pursue. I teach around each students interests and goals, and tailor lessons around their needs. From classical to pop rock and the blues, you will learn fundamental techniques that set you up for success.

I started my journey into music in my early childhood on the piano. In my teenage years, I picked up the guitar and fell in love.

I believe anybody has the ability to play music with guidance and practice. I aim to teach solid fundamentals and instill a love for music. I teach according to each individuals interests and goals, and pace lessons accordingly. 

I specialize in classical fingerstyle. I teach open chords, strumming patterns, musical notation, flat picking, and hand exercises.

We just had our first lesson with Mr. Travis but it was great. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and my kids are eager to learn more from him.

He is a good teacher and awesome musician. My son is learning a lot and really likes him and enjoys his sessions with him and looks forward to next session.
