Spanish is not my native language, so I can relate to the mixed bag of emotions that come with learning a new language: self-consciousness, excitement, awkwardness (because of those pesky false cognates!) Along the way, I picked up some great strategies for understanding Spanish that I'd enjoy sharing with you. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree both in Spanish. I studied abroad in Mexico, Spain, and Morocco. This past year, I took continued education coursework in Spanish translation. Just recently, I attended a workshop on language teaching through storytelling, also known as TPRS. It's a useful and unique exercise beneficial to language-learners of all levels. I look forward to helping you feel more confident for class, pass your Spanish test, or even help you learn the language for work.
