Playing and teaching music is my life. As a bassist in New Orleans, LA, I have had great opportunities playing various styles of music. Years of gigging in the New Orleans area and nationally touring in the United States has taught me how to become a better musician. I will always be a student for life in the art of music and most inspiring musicians should relate to becoming great students. Music is an art that takes dedication and time to develop skills. There are plenty of exercises that I teach to my students that are fun, creative, and challenging. My general focus with each student is improving sight-reading ability, rhythmic accuracy, and ear training.
