I have been performing/writing music all of my life. I started as a boy living in New England playing clarinet, piano, trumpet, guitar and bass. In my teens I focused on working with other musicians and formed musical groups that have performed all over the world, American styles of music such as Blues, Country, Rock and Jazz both standards and originals. If you are like me you hear music in your head, This is the music I strive to help bring out of my students, if you don't hear music in your head keep after it you will eventually. *** Lesson Details *** Being a father of one I have extensive experience teaching my child and others how to play and perform songs that are fun and familiar. Having taken lessons in Boston, MA from a variety of teachers/styles, some were task masters and some were very fun, but in the end if the student enjoys music and he or she practices a few minutes a day the rewards are tremendous. Music to me is always a positive and worth while experience. My teaching approach is simple, make the lesson fun and enjoyable. So, the student looks forward to picking up the instrument, and becomes successful.. All my students make music in the first lesson...
