Trumpet with Tom P.

I have been playing trumpet for over 13 years. I've been gigging around the New Haven area for about five years now, and have played numerous styles. From traditional jazz to bebop, to New Orleans Second Line, to Funk. Being immersed in these styles has made me very accustomed to playing in those styles, which I will be able to share with you! I have an undergraduate degree in music from Southern Connecticut State University, with a graduate degree in music education from the University of Bridgeport. I'm somewhat of a "theory-nerd", meaning I have a deep appreciation for music theory and its application. From reading sheet music to identifying scales to use over chords, I will assist you in whatever it is you want to be improved.
