All styles, all levels and all ages are welcome. Studying with me, you'll learn how to play the music you want to play as well as the fundamentals so you really understand what you're doing, why that song is so cool and most importantly how to build on the skills you've already learned. I've spent a lot of time as an improvisor and one of the things that comes out of that experience as a teacher is the ability to help my students find their own voice on the instrument. If you want to perform on stage I can help with everything around performance from getting your repertoire together, overcoming stage fright, being a compelling performer and being a good band leader and a good side person. In short, I love music and have devoted my life to it and I look forward to sharing it with you!
