Acoustic Guitar with Tom C.

My name is Tom. I am currently retired from the I/T industry. I did a great deal of training as part of my job. I'm anxious to apply my teaching skills to my lifelong passion: the acoustic guitar. I am also a decorated United States Navy veteran (USS Nimitz). I started playing guitar in 1975. I play the acoustic guitar exclusively. I like folk, rock'n'roll, classical, some jazz, and blues. I play mostly folk, pop, and rock'n'roll. I own several acoustic, 6-string acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. All are steel-string, dreadnought style. I sometimes use an amplifier but prefer the natural sound of the acoustic. I am anxious to help beginners learn how to get started playing the guitar and develop a lifelong passion for the acoustic guitar and for acoustic guitar music.
