I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer. I graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2004 with a bachelor in performance. I can teach all styles and skill levels weather you are taking lessons for the first time, or weather you need help with a Rachmaninoff concerto. I can also help you write and develop your own music. I specialize in piano technique and learning to play effortlessly. My lessons are nontraditional in the sense that I work side by side with the student whilst he/she is learning a piece. I break down the music into manageable "bites" and we practice it together. In this manner I am able to demonstrate the notes, tone and character in the music and I am essentially teaching the student how to practice. I am also able to teach my students how to play virtuoso passages with fluidity and without tension.
