Hello students! I'm a very friendly and patient teacher who will always challenge you to be your best! I try to cater to different personalities and learning styles knowing that what works for one student may not work for another. I have taught general music/chorus/band in elementary schools throughout Massachusetts for the past 15 years. I work well with beginners, I know how to work well with special needs students, but I can also discuss advanced music theory/composition/songwriting/improvisation techniques with my more advanced students. The guitar is my primary instrument, however, I also play the following instruments (in order of proficiency best to worst): voice, bass, piano, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, flute, violin, viola, cello, drums, and trombone. At this point in my career, three of my former students have attended Berklee College of Music. One of whom, at the age of 18, has experienced performing in Nashville with artists like Keb Mo and Vince Gill. He is planning on starting college at Berklee this fall.
