I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a degree in Professional music with a Music Education Emphasis from Berklee College of Music. I have experience performing, composing, and/or recording on the genres of classical, jazz, Latin, rock and pop music, and I have extensive knowledge of jazz and classical music theory. I take great pride and pleasure in helping my students realize their innate musical abilities and in providing the structure and knowledge to allow them to expand those abilities in whatever direction their passion dictates.
National Association for Music Education (NAfME), among the world’s largest arts education organizations, is the only association that addresses all aspects of music education. NAfME advocates at the local, state, and national levels; provides resources for teachers, parents, and administrators; hosts professional development events; and offers a variety of opportunities for students and teachers. The Association orchestrates success for millions of students nationwide and has supported music educators at all teaching levels for more than a century.+ Read More
Tim is very cool and he teaches in a way that makes the playing guitar so easy
11 year-old Tommy likes Timothy because "he's kind, understanding, helpful and funny." I like Timothy because he's courteous, reliable and is helping my son to get better and to enjoy playing the Sax.
The first class went very well!
Sasha really liked Timothy and is very comfortable about the speed in which they moved and his expectations for her for next lesson. GREAT experience!
First lesson went great! Very informative.
Timothy was both patient and knowledgeable, two important traits when working with a beginner 11 year-old saxophonist. After spending time with Timothy, my son is excited to play more.
Very nice teacher! Learned few chord in the first lesson. He answered all questions I have.
