I'm a professional guitar player from Norway living in NYC, and a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music. I have toured in the US, Europe, and Asia, and have played some of New York's most famous jazz rooms like Smalls, 55 Bar, and Dizzy's club at the Lincoln Center, and other notable east coast venues like the Side Door, Scullers, Regattabar and South Jazz Kitchen. I am comfortable showing you the ropes for any style you enjoy within contemporary music, such as rock, pop and jazz. I have won several notable awards and scholarships for my playing and writing, including the notable Berklee Jimi Hendrix award. I am excited to be working with you, and help you reach your goals no matter your level!

Tim is an amazing teacher! I recently started playing guitar and Tim has helped me improve with each lesson. He is kind, understanding, patient, and knowledgable. Tim teaches students of all levels. If you do well in your lesson, he might even treat you to a homemade Norwegian cat cookie:)
