I've been playing and teaching professionally for over 30 years. I earned my master's at UCLA on full scholarship and also attended Berklee, The University of Arizona and Cal Arts. I freelanced in Los Angeles for 20 years and played on 25 soundtracks (Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy, King Kong, etc) and a dozen CDs. I have extensive experience in many styles, both live and in studio. *** Lesson Details *** The first thing we determine is what your goals are. Then we work on right hand and left hand techniques and theory. My goal is to help you reach your goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. *** Travel Equipment *** Student should provide his/her own blank staff paper notebook for exercises I compose for them and for electric bass, a small amp. *** Specialties *** I have experience in all styles, primarily jazz and classical.
