Guitar with Thor J.

An accomplished guitarist and New York native, Thor’s mastery of his instrument speaks for itself. His first influences ranged from Jimi Hendrix to John Scofield and other modern jazz players, and he spent his formative years giving guitar lessons and performing with his band, Incognito Sofa Love, while simultaneously studying the guitar mastery of Django Reinhardt. From 2011-2015, he toured the country and recorded three albums with Quiet Life, sharing the bill with Dr.Dog, The Lumineers, and Langhorne Slim, among others. In 2015, he was invited to join Stephane Wrembel’s band, where he continues to hone his skills while touring throughout the world. Most recently, Thor and Stephane were chosen to represent the Untied States in Nigeria as part of a cultural envoy, and this spring will be performing at Carnegie Hall with Al di Meola.
