As a musician, being able to record and write music with a digital audio workstation is a must. Ableton is in my opinion the flagship software of choice when it comes to digital audio production. Ableton is what I use to produce sounds and music for escape rooms, and to record and produce my own music! If you want to learn the basics of editing sounds, adding effects, and recording music using Ableton Live, I'm here to help!

Hi there! My name is Thomas Satalino, and I'm an instrumentalist, musician, photographer, painter, and writer. I have a passion for all things creative, and I teach people how to tap into their inherent creative ability, and find that artistic outlet they didn't even know they had!
I started playing piano at the age of 4, and have been playing musical instruments ever since. I have a passion for learning new things, and sharing my knowledge with others. Over the course of the past 18 years I have learned over 13 instruments.
I was born and raised in Richmond Virginia where I taught for 2 years with "The Universal Language Room", an organization dedicated to teaching children with autism spectrum disorder the universal language of music. I currently teach full time at my home in Ardmore, and at Salem Academy of Music. My approach to teaching music is personalized based on each and every students needs. I believe everyone is able to play an instrument, take a beautiful picture, and paint an inspirational painting.
My desire is to open the heart of every person to their creative self, free of judgement, and to learn the universal language of art for art's sake.
Teach Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Bass, and Vocal Performance to a variety of students in the Winston-Salem Area.
Teach music to kids on the autism spectrum in an after school group setting across the RVA area.
Help connect music students with the right teacher for them, and set teachers and students up for success.
Thomas is very patient and really good about catering lessons to individual interests. From the start he taught a great balance of fun stuff to get started with immediately as well as some more technical aspects about form and music theory.
