My name is Alan, and I am a graduate of North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC (December 2014) with a BA in Christian Studies and of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC (May 2018) with a Master of Divinity degree. I graduated high school in 2011 at Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston, SC with a concentration in vocal music, but I excelled at math. I served as a tutor with the National Honor Society at CCSOA from 2009-2011 helping in all middle and high schools levels of Math, French, and Chemistry. I have a wife, Melissa, and daughter, Amelia, and we love to sing, read, and serve our church. Currently I teach high school math at a small private school. During my time there, I was a teacher assistant for Kindergarten and 2nd Grade, taught 5th grade all subjects, 6th-8th Grade Math, High School Calculus and Statistics. In the 2022-2023 school year I am teaching Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Geometry, and Bible classes for the High School.

Alan tutored me in high school for an AP Statistics class that, let's face it, I should never have attempted in the first place. He was very patient and kind while helping me to understand things step by step and no matter how frustrated I was in myself, he never gave up on helping me! By far the best tutor I have ever had :)

Alan tutored me in Calculus while at NGU. He is very knowledgeable in the subject and did his best to help me understand such a foreign subject. He was very helpful to me and I know he would be very helpful to others.

Alan reviewed several of my papers from my Christian Studies classes at North Greenville University. He was extremely helpful and helped me receive an A on one of my papers for a hermeneutics class. I would highly recommend Alan as a tutor. He was very helpful for me and I have no doubt he will be a big help to others!
