Quickly learn how to have fun making music with Ableton Live from an artist with 10 years experience

Ableton is an incredibly intuitive and flexible program with limitless opportunities for making creative music quickly and easily. I am a self-taught artist with 10 years experience who can cut right through all the boring stuff and quickly get you to having fun with the process of making music. The main genres I work in are downtempo, ambient and hip hop, and you'll get the most out of me if your interests are similar, but I can help anyone get started in Ableton no matter what genre they would like to produce. I can show you how to: -Produce a track from start to finish -Create your own instruments and effects -Work with samples and live audio -Compose and arrange with Midi -Build your own improvised live sets Because I'm self taught, my prices are competitive! But I guarantee satisfaction with my services - if you're not having fun making music you can have your money back. Let's lay down some beats!

    About Thomas D.

I am an independent electronic artist living in Bushwick Brooklyn. I started producing music when I was about 17 years old and taught myself everything I know through tutorials and experimentation with the program. I've never had any formal music education so my approach to making music is pragmatic and simple. I play with things until cool sounds come out. What always appealed to me about Ableton was that I could come to it with little musical training and still quickly make things that were fun and interesting. I'd like to share that experience of discovery with you, because you are also capable of making great stuff if you only open your mind to it. When we work together, we can talk about your goals - do you want to produce tracks, live sets, or both? Then we can dive into a number of creative approaches to making things quickly, and keeping the learning process fun and exciting. I'm not going to bore you with a ton of music theory, and I'm never going to tell you that you didnt practice enough. What I will do is inspire you to get whatever music is inside your head out there into the program and encourage you to have fun along the way.
