Violin with Therese W.

Hello! My name is Therese West and I recently graduated from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory with an undergraduate degree in Violin Performance. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I began taking piano lessons at age 3 and violin lessons at age 6. Throughout my high school years I received a wide variety of music experience. I played sax in the band, sang in the choir, was the accompanist for my school choir and church, and played violin in two youth orchestras. In college I decided to focus on violin because my goal is to be in a professional orchestra and teach violin. I began studying viola 2 years ago and have played in many viola masterclasses and performed on viola with many chamber groups since. Even though I spend a lot of time playing piano and viola, violin is still my main focus. I spent this past summer performing with an orchestra in Austria. I am so excited to have more students through takelessons.com and would love to share my love for music with you!
