I was fortunate to be trained as a ballet teacher beginning at an extremely young age. While my body was not suited for the profession, my passion and determination were acknowledged and encouraged. I served what amounted to a modern-day apprenticeship. I was able to open my first ballet school in my teens and quickly my students were achieving success with acceptance and scholarship into the A-list ballet schools. While still in my twenties my students became members of professional ballet companies. At this stage of my life, I enjoy teaching private classes. Working one on one I can use my years of experience and depth of exercises to tailor classes for the individual. My Pilates certification adds conditioning knowledge to strengthen my students. I enjoy teaching tap dancing to all ages. I have been teaching mat and reformer classes since 1997. I privately coach all levels of ballet students, conduct teacher seminars and have been a guest instructor and in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Guangzhou, China. I am the author of “The Ballet Garden”, a non-fiction picture book for children.
