Classical Piano with Thais D.

I am a native Californian and was raised in the Bay Area. I graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education with an emphasis in voice, piano, and choral music. I went on to receive my Master's degree from Hope International University in Southern California. I have spent over 35 years teaching piano and voice and working with bands and choirs of all ages in church, school, and theater settings. I have taught piano, voice, and choral conducting classes, as well as music workshops for various colleges, churches, schools, and organizations. I have been a member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTA) and served as a piano adjudicator for the certificate of merit program while teaching a full studio of students. In addition to my work with churches and as a private instructor, I have a love for musical theater and have used my piano, vocal, and conducting skills to play for and serve as the musical and vocal director for many musical theater productions. I have knowledge, expertise and interest in all genres of music and enjoy teaching and sharing my love for music with my students.
