I am a pianist, composer, and keyboardist, who has been teaching and playing professionally my whole life. I ran my own teaching studio in Los Angeles for over thirty years. My method of instruction is all inclusive: from Bach to rock! I adore teaching classical piano to all ages, but specialize in popular, jazz and blues styles, using a unique approach, of chords and ear training, developed by my mentor, the late, great jazz pianist and Teacher, Harry Fields. I also taught for Harry and was his assistant instructor for five years. My goal as a teacher, is to not only offer immediate results in the first lesson, by putting two hands together and playing an entire song, but a real enjoyment and enthusiasm for making music.This method is also very appealing and effective with children.Yearly Recitals are also given with the kids.
