I am so happy to meet you! I can't wait to get to know you and learn about your music goals. Let me share briefly about myself. I hold a bachelor's and a master's degree in music education from the University of Northern Iowa plus a K-12 teaching license. I am also a national certified teacher of music. After teaching 5-12 band and private lessons, I then co-founded and taught at the University of Northern Iowa Community Music School for 12 years with a total of 16 years of teaching experience on a variety of instruments (piano included) and music theory. We mastered the art of deliberate practice helping students of all ages, levels, and abilities accelerate their progress towards mastery with music they love (classical, jazz, gospel, modern, etc.). I use a proven curriculum I have developed to help you meet your goals and enjoy music for a lifetime! I love music theory and I bet you will fall in love with it too!
