All students have intelligence and are capable of learning. It is all about the approach we take to get your child to excel and become more knowledgeable. While working at Right Start Early Childhood Center as a teacher, I had the pleasure of working with children for over 7 years. I also learned what is required for children to learn and grow in all areas (physically, socially, and emotionally). The position required continuous training which kept me up to date on how to interact with ages 2 to 12. In addition, I had the opportunity to tutor children. My first tutoring experience was with Lindenwood Elementary as a volunteer. While at this position, I guided a kindergardener to increase their alphabet recognition, vocabulary and also helped with some handwriting. In 2016, I also had the pleasure of helping a child go from E to C in reading and writing in only two months. I created a individualized plan just for his specific needs. Your child/student has the intelligence, we just have to find a way to help it shine through.
