    About Tee C.

My family is from Thailand and growing up I would enjoy many delicious food such as green curry, grilled chicken and sticky rice, and papaya salad. Growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I also enjoyed many other Asian dishes. Moving away to Milwaukee, WI, then Flint, MI made me realize how much I missed the food of my childhood, so I took cooking more seriously and went out of my comfort zone to try to recreate the foods that I loved so much. Cooking was also a way to destress from studying for exams, and so making delicious food became my passion! As a grad student, I'm still cooking and working on perfecting my recipes. I also volunteer at a soup kitchen and have cooked for several church functions. During the pandemic, I taught cooking online, which allowed me to connect with others and share my love of good food. Please note, I am nonbinary and my pronouns are they/them.
