I studied Theatre, Music History, and Musical Theory at Muhlenberg College.  As a percussionist and a pianist as well as a guitarist, I am a well-rounded musician and song-writer.  I was self taught for years and then I took lessons and specialized in classical guitar.  I also taught acting and stage combat in NYC for 5 years at PACE University and Brooklyn College.  I've worked as a pit musician, toured with a Disco Punk band, and written and produced my own music.  My diverse background gives me eclectic skills that I can pass on to my students.

I talk fast, work slow, and have all the fun.  Lets laugh, learn, work hard, and make some tunes.  I can help you with songwriting, learning your favorite covers, soloing guitar, landing that sick beat, keeping it steady, etc.

I have worked with Teddy since the summer of last year. He is very patience, engaging, and  collaborative. He helped me turn my poem into a song for a show we were doing and we kept tweaking till we ready to show it. It was amazing and I’d recommend him to anyone who wants to learn about songwriting.

Great teacher: full of humor and a cavern of knowledge. Highly recommend!
