I am a former collegiate volleyball player and coach with experience at the NCAA Division I and II levels. I was a setter during my playing career, graduating with a BBA in Sport Management and an MA in Coaching and Athletic Administration to build my formal education while beginning my coaching career. As a trainer, I believe that the best way for athletes to get better is to understand and implement the concepts that make the game work rather than just prescribing techniques. This allows me to bypass the fundamental issue of "What do I do when my coach says I should do it differently?" - simply apply the same concept using their technique! This extends to my philosophy on training the body - I will help you safely train at home to prevent injury and encourage functional movement rather than simply lifting heavier weights. I have also been part of the college recruitment process from the perspective of a club player, club coach, and college coach, so I want to demystify the whole thing for the athletes that are currently part of it. This includes an understanding of the new recruiting rules and how they impact each athlete's process, and guidance on how to consistently market yourself to college coaches. Athletes across the country can take advantage of this training through convenient video sessions, with in-person training sessions offered to those who are in the Daytona Beach, FL area (requests for visits to other locations will be considered on a case by case basis).
