Something about the freedom in the framework of four strings seems to make the Ukulele limitless to me. The Uke and its history has always fascinated me, and because I have Hawaiian and Portuguese relatives I almost feel it my obligation to play ukulele. I've been playing Tenor, Soprano, and Baritone ukuleles for 10 years and with it, have written jingles for NBC, recorded three albums of world music inspired compositions, and have recorded and played with artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Cody Simpson, and Annika Bennett at the Kennedy Center and other venues around the world. I would love to teach you all chords and voicings up and down the neck, chord/melody parts (so you can provide both the harmony and melody simultaneously) and teach you all your favorite songs with simple and emotional finger picking and strumming patterns that'll never go out of style. Let's fill in all the gaps together and work on your ear training so you'll be able to hear any song and immediately be able to play it.
