Singing with Taylor M.

Taylor Is such an amazing teacher. He is incredibly detailed and is always very helpful when I am in need of guidance. The vibe that he gives off is so kind and wonderful. I always have a great time talking with him. He is definitely someone that you should get to know and will be missing out if you don't. Overall, he's one of the best teachers I've ever had.

Taylor was the music teacher at CAP and Plaza De La Raza's Theatre collaboration in 2014 and I was one of the students who was lucky enough to work with him. I helped with sound effects and he always helped us stay in order and be creative while doing it. One of my fondest memories of being Taylor's student was when I was an understudy for a singing part in the production. It was a piece higher than I had ever confidently sang before, so I was nervous. All the days leading up to the performance he rehearsed with me and helped me hit the notes and be confident. I was still completely nervous when the show came along and Taylor was so helpful and calming, and definitely real. He got me to talk myself up and be confident and that is what made the performance so fun in the end. When looking for a vocal teacher, you always want someone who will make you comfortable and also be honest with you, Taylor is both of those things and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
