Hey! My name is Tati. I grew up in the East Village in New York City. Currently, I am in my last year at New York University pursuing a double major in Computer Science and multimedia at Tisch School of The Arts. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate, I can help you improve your proficiency in Java, Javascript, Python, MYSQL, or C. Moreover I am here to teach you about data structures, object-oriented programming and ways to improve your code workflow. As a hobby, I connect plants to Arduinos, make virtual synthesizers in Pure Data and SuperCollider, and 3D print my own hardware. I hope to meet you soon!

    Experience

    3D Specialist

    Jan, 2017 - Present

    Laguardia Studio

-3D Machine maintenance and post-processing Cleaning and maintaining the performance of multiple machines, like our newest addition, the Fortus 450. Our printers model complex geometries in a wide range of thermoplastic materials. Staff are expected to understand and lead the 3d printing process from 3d model to finished product for a client. -3D Modeling Laguardia Studio utilizes every type of 3D software. I have built models with Maya (animation oriented) and SolidWorks, a CAD and CAE certified program that engineers use to design functioning products. -3D Scanning Working with industrial scanners like the Faro Arm, an articulating arm-based scanner used to collect individual 3D data points of an object in space. Staff is expected to be able to scan any client object, process information into CAD software, and export to .OBJ file. The Artec Space Spider is used for metrological accuracy. Staff must be able to communicate with customers during human body part scanning.

    Intern Programmer

    Aug, 2017 - Nov, 2017

United States Securities and Exchange Commission: Quantitative Analysis Unit

The Quantitative Analytics Department at The United States Securities and Exchange Commission consists of a diverse set of mathematics, physics, and computer science majors. I am working on a semester-long project that begins with python software that reads in raw data from daily ETF holdings and baskets. The raw data is formatted and standardized into tables. My goal is to create a GUI interface and API that communicates with the Python software. We want to make the tool accessible to government examiners using the program.

    Teaching Assistant

    Sep, 2015 - Sep, 2016

    The Point

I taught children ages 12 to 17 film photography and darkroom processing. My job was to teach students the technicalities of developing 35mm film by guiding them through the chemical-based process. Another aspect was taking the kids on field trips to accentuate their knowledge on the social history of Photography. In addition, the teaching assistants help students with their writing supplements, describing their semester progress and final work.
