I'm a professional musician (soprano, pianist, violinist) with a passion for performing and teaching an array of genre - from classical and opera, to jazz and folk music. I have been teaching for nearly 10 years now and continue to grow and learn. My initial teaching experience was with the YOURS Orchestra program in Chicago, assisting with the beginning and advanced orchestras, teaching string sectionals, and private lessons. I also taught for several years in a boutique lesson studio in Chicago, providing lessons in piano and violin. I currently teach violin, piano, and voice for several studios in the bay area. My teaching style is aimed at creating a safe and fun learning environment that builds musical knowledge and independence. My curriculum focuses on a solid foundation of note-reading and effective practice method along with developing confidence and artistry.
