Students can take lessons to learn just conversational hindi. They will be able to speak basic sentences from first lesson and in 15-20 lessons, should be able to have a good small conversation. They can learn to read and write, the way I teach students can start reading words from the very first lesson. They should be fluent reader in 15 lessons.

About me-My name is Tarun . and I am a native Hindi speaker from New Delhi, India. I have been living in California since 1996. I am a mother and an elementary school teacher. I have been teaching Hindi to kids and adults in California since 2003. 

Teaching Experience- I love teaching Hindi and try to make it fun. I teach conversational Hindi as well as reading and writing. I use storybooks, games, hands-on materials, flash cards so the students learn faster. 

Student Lessons- I teach private lessons and small group lessons. If you would like to learn the language with your siblings, friends or any small group setting, there are special fees for those classes.

My kids look forward to their daily Hindi class, and are making visible progress speaking Hindi. Tarun engages them with poems and stories. They are even happy to do homework!

My first lesson was great.  Tarun ji immediately started our lesson in Hindi and I learned so many new words in just an hour lesson.  Looking forward to more lessons to come and very inspired to learn with my great teacher!

Taruna seems very good at getting kids interested in learning. My kids had their first session yesterday and she kept the conversations a mix of Hindi and English - that probably was a big reason my kids felt comfortable and ready to continue learning with her.  Also, she is pleasant and welcoming.

I've had a wonderful experience learning Hindi with Taruna. I went to classes for over a year, and learned more than I would have imagined.
She has multiple academic resources to help make learning experience easier and fun, as well as helps students practice different skills in each class.
She covers all areas (speaking, reading, listening, grammar, writing) with a well defined methodology, that help to learn gradually but steadily.

She wrote the books used for the sessions, which I find very intuitive because they grow in complexity as you read.

I also found quite helpful that she was flexible with the hours available, otherwise it would be very challenging to find a good time for the class due to my job requirements.

Super pro. Has all the tools for a beginning child: textbook but also story books, posters, images, videos. Sends message with the homework and links to what they did in class. Knows exactly how to start the child with the language, very clear step by step progression. My daughter looks forward to the lesson, so that says it all.

I really enjoyed taking Hindi lessons from Tarun. She is very nice and patient. She helped me learn vocabulary, reading, pronunciation and more.  It is cool that she uses several techniques from kids books to games. As an adult, I really enjoyed these fun ways of learning. My Hindi has definitely improved from only a few lessons. I  definitely recommend if you want to learn Hindi to take lessons from Tarun.

I was impressed that on the very first day Balaram had picked up quite a few words and was able to read and write a bit.
