English (ESL) with Tara N.

I have been teaching ESL since 2009, and I love having the chance to help students grow and improve their English! After I received my Master’s degree, I taught in 3 English for Academic Purposes programs and a community college. In 2015, my first son was born, so I started tutoring clients in their homes. I have worked with children to help them with homework and course assignments, I have taught lessons to families and spouses new to the area, so they could comfortably do day-to-day activities, and I have taught specialized lessons to help individuals reduce their accents, improve e-mail interactions, and excel in business meetings and presentations. In addition, I have also worked with college students to supplement their courses work and/or prepare for English testing. Every new student is an exciting opportunity to create a special set of lessons and help him/her feel confident and successful!! I can meet clients at my home, at their home, or an outside location, wherever they feel most comfortable. In my free time, I love to be outdoors with my husband and two sons!
