Hello! I hope I get to meet you soon. I have taught kindergarten through college.I make sure my students enjoy the learning time we spend together. We set new goals each session. I have taught in the classroom, online and at students’ homes. I have availability Monday through Saturday. My areas of teaching expertise are: 1. Composition - I have taught college writing for over 14 years. I have successful track records teaching both expository writing and creative writing. 2. Fast Track to learning- This is a 6 session course for students 12-18 yrs. old. It is perfect for all students whether struggling to pass some classes to students with 4.0+ GPA. I have over 20 years of experience helping students find the best strategies to create their unique formula for success. This gives them a jumpstart to fast track learning. You will see your teens' learning potential rapidly increase due to change in perspective and receptiveness to learning. 3. Reading: I have limited spots for new readers and have extensive background in using Miscue Analysis which is a process for discovering obstacles that new readers may encounter and then finding strategies to overcome these obstacles. I studied at the University of Missouri-Columbia, under Dorothea Watson the co-creator of Miscue Analysis 4. Learning styles and processing - I really enjoy helping students find their most efficient and effective unique path to learning. I believe it is important that every student be able to reach their highest potential which brings about a joy in learning and a deep sense of purpose. 5. Grant Writing- I assist professionals in how to be a successful grant writer.I have 9 years experience as a professional grant writer. I have secured seed funding for 80% of the start up requests I have received. Over the past several years the world has experienced a paradigm shift.
